  • Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso Albino Armani

Ever since antiquity Refosco has been considered a very renowned wine. Even the ancient Romans appreciated its character and the intense, dark color of the grapes.
In the course of the centuries, Refosco has found its “home” in Friuli. During the feasts, of which we still have historical memory, it was enjoyed together with other autochthonous Friulian wines such as Picolit, Ribolla and Ramandolo.
Refosco dal “peduncolo rosso” (with red stem) is considered to be the best among the various Refosco varietals. It stands out for its lively ruby red color. The bouquet can range from dried herbs to flowers, fresh red fruit and dark spices. The toasting notes are developed by the brief aging in wood which at the same time softens its vibrant tannins.

  • Ribolla Gialla

Among indigenous wines from Friuli, Ribolla Gialla is the one with the oldest documented tradition, dating back to the year 1299.

Today this variety results in wines made in different styles, while maintaining an informal and sincere profile.
In our version,  it is a pulpy and savory white, enriched by a short maceration on the skins that makes it more consistent on the palate while preserving a nice freshness.
Lively and vibrant, with bright acidity, this wine reveals fruity and mineral scents, nuances that persist in your mouth with salty and crisp suggestions.

  • Sauvignon-Superiore-Friuli-Grave-DOC

Believing in the potential of a terroir that we have known, loved and protected for years.

    Challenging it.

Giving the wine enough time to fully develop its identity and express its innate elegance.

To allow ourselves to be surprised.

This is the heart of the thought leading us to imagine a new Sauvignon from Alta Grave in Friuli, where the mountains that frame the vineyards mitigate the temperatures, with constant winds and considerable temperature shifts. Waiting patiently awarded us with a wine of fascinating nuances, where floral notes of elder, magnolia and Mediterranean herbs meet citrus scents: a complexity that also complements the long and persuasive sip.
