The Grave Friulana is a particularly suitable area for the cultivation of the “Glera” vine and therefore it was included in the appellation of origin (Prosecco DOC). Its stony and loose soil, the significant temperature shifts and the ventilated microclimate, make the grapes express their unique characteristics and, together with a careful vinification, result in an elegant Prosecco. In the glass you will find a surprising fine perlage, a fruity and fresh bouquet enriched with mineral notes. The sip is delicate and creamy and recalls the same scents you perceived on the nose. The finish is long, pleasantly sapid and mineral.€8,50
Ever since antiquity Refosco has been considered a very renowned wine. Even the ancient Romans appreciated its character and the intense, dark color of the grapes.
In the course of the centuries, Refosco has found its “home” in Friuli. During the feasts, of which we still have historical memory, it was enjoyed together with other authochtonous Friulian wines such as Picolit, Ribolla and Ramandolo.
Refosco dal “peduncolo rosso” (with red stem) is considered to be the best among the various Refosco varietals. It stands out for its lively ruby red color. The bouquet can range from dried herbs to flowers, fresh red fruit and dark spices. The toasting notes are developed by the brief aging in wood which at the same time softens its vibrant tannins.
The stony soil of this area, the strong thermal shifts and the long rest on the yeasts, make this Ribolla a sparkling wine with a refined and persistent perlage that combines the minerality of the terroir with the floral and citrus fragrance.
This “metodo classico” (Champenoise method) from Friuli, is a wine of great personality, obtained from the indigenous Ribolla Gialla grapes grown in our vineyards in the area called “Grave”, at the feet of the Alps, north of Venice. Freshness and acidity are well balanced on the palate. The wide sip and the dry, long finish invite you to a second glass.€18,00
Sauvignon is a grape originally from the Loire, in France. Its name comes from the word ”sauvage”, referring to the wild vine from which it was generated. This variety gives its best in loose soils, rich of stones and gravel, preferring cool climates with decisive thermal excursions.
The “Magredi” is a place located in the area called Grave Friulana and that is where our Sauvignon has found an ideal environment. Each plant produces just a few bunches resulting in a wine that shows bright green hints. Its distinctive feature is the aromatic polyphony revealing scents of pink grapefruit, tropical fruit and magnolia. In the mouth it is vigorous and vibrant, with a long aromatic persistency that recalls the same fruits. The finish has a pleasant mineral note.€10,00
